Tele-health Appointments 

​Our booking software JaneApp has an online appointment feature. This is an option for clients who are not able to come into the office for appointments to do a check-in or to get some healthcare resources. It is worth checking your extended medical plan to see if it covers Tele-Health appointments for acupuncture. (Several plans cover Tele-Health appointments with physiotherapists, counsellors, therapists, and athletic therapists. Some cover appointments for acupuncture/TCM health consultations.)

20 minute consultations are also free via video chat.

Contagious Diseases & Treatment 

Our priority is taking care of you. If you are sick (if you have new symptoms, which could be related to a contagious illness, including skin rash and stomach pain), please stay home and rest. We do not charge a cancellation fee for these unfortunate days or emergencies. (Typically you are responsible for the appointment if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice and no one else books the time slot.)

IF YOU DO COME:​

• I am happy to wear a mask during treatment.
• Please wear a mask if you have been near sick people recently. We have disposable ones available.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early and use the provided washroom to wash your hands (20 seconds with soap and hot water) when arriving.
• I will be continually washing and sanitizing my hands.
• We also use peroxide-based sanitizer on high touch areas throughout the clinic; i.e. doorknobs, light switches, oil bottles, chairs, equipment, etc.
  
• All linens are single-use and laundered between patients.
  
• I offer Tele-Health consultations by phone or secure video conference if you want some home-care tips for managing symptoms using self-massage/acupressure.
• Please call or email us if you get sick shortly after your appointment, so I can avoid immunocompromised people for a few days.

LIABILITY WAIVER & CONSENT: Although we are following all requirements for our clinic setting, no-one can 100% guarantee that the virus is not present or being transmitted. We want everyone to understand that there is an inherent risk present with the close contact that we have with our clients and that it is your decision to proceed with any treatment with the full understanding that we are following all requirements as per the Provincial Health Officer as well as our respective governing Colleges.
